Foundation for Advancement of Education and Research FAER invites the application for Motorola Scholar Awards Programme for the academic year 2015-2016.
The Motorola Scholar Programme is started to encourage the creativity and revolution between the students in polytechnics and engineering institutions across India mainly those in rural and semi-urban area in order to think and prepare detailed project proposals on areas and topics of relevance.
The candidates will be selected for Motorola Scholars Programme from the engineering colleges based on a project in the areas of Computer Science and Information Technology.

** Renewable Energy Systems
** Rural technologies
** Health care Technologies
** Labour saving Technologies for Women
** Ecology and Environment
** Applications
@=} First of all FAER will receive project proposals from students in engineering colleges.
@=} The project or application will be screened with the help of experts and select projects for funding.
@=} Each project team will be reimbursed with an amount up to a maximum of Rs. 5,000/- after completion of their project.
@=} Afterwards, the selection of Motorola Scholars will depends on the evaluation of completed projects through a Seminar-cum-Exhibition.
@=} Finally the best projects will be awarded with Cash Prize and Certificates in Motorola Scholar Awards Presentation Function.
@=} Special award will be given to the students from disadvantaged sections.
<>> Last date to receive the softcopy of the proposal for Projects will be October 30, 2015.
<>> Projects will be approved by FAER on January 15, 2016
Ist Prize Winner : Rs. 75,000/- (Rs. 60,000/- to Students Team and Rs. 15,000/- to Project Guide)
IInd Prize Winner : Rs. 50,000/- (Rs. 40,000/- to Students Team and Rs. 10,000/- to Project Guide)
IIIrd Prize Winner : Rs. 30,000/- (Rs. 24,000/- to Students Team and Rs. 6,000/- to Project Guide)
Special Award : Rs. 25,000/- to Students team will be given
